Motivational western speakers say that the word crisis in Chinese characters signifies “danger” and “opportunity” respectively. For your wellness, it’s a good idea to have a positive visualization of what a crisis could mean for you. And yes, new opportunities are on the table.

We’re living in a disrupted time where most of us must stay at home to protect ourselves and others from an unseen virus. Some of us have lost our job, others now have enough time to dream and explore new ideas. If you open your mind, you might recognize some unexpected opportunities.

In this moment of isolation, there are opportunities to learn new skills, create your own job, build, heal, grow relationships, as well as create an empire that can change the world for good…. all with your loved ones.

Family business is the oldest and most common model of economic organization.

Based on research of the Forbes 400 richest Americans, 44% of the Forbes 400 member fortunes were derived by being a member of or in association with a family business. Families play a unique role in the global economy — more than 70% of global GDP and more than 85% of startups are funded by family-backed investments.

The main challenges in a family business might be managing relationships. At the same time, this could be your strength, if you have the fortune of developing a good environment at home “culture” (a startup culture is a workplace environment that values creative problem solving, open communication and a flat hierarchy) you have good potential for success. Fortunately, there is very good free content online, that can guide you in this journey towards understanding and learning more around personal growth, and building meaningful relationships and businesses.

An important aspect that could be beneficial in the current situation, if mastered, is Digital Literacy. Creating a digital business will give you the flexibility to scale it and to create abundance around your business model, remotely, from anywhere and anytime. But you can also go for a traditional and physical business with your family, because the most important ingredient is the passion and the quality of the relationship behind the business.
