PowerTree — Modernizing the Electrical Maintenance Industry!

This year, FounderFuel’s graduating cohort comprised an exceptional group of entrepreneurs hungry to make their mark on the world. Embarking on the monumental task of building and growing a start-up is a lonely and challenging feat filled with obstacles from obtaining funding, to navigating co-founder dynamics, procuring recurring customers, building a product with market traction, etc.
FounderFuel, as its name implies acts as a catalyst to empower founders to achieve their full potential. Through mentors that have been experienced investors, operators, the FounderFuel program fills the knowledge and experience gap that first time entrepreneurs lack.
The 2019 FounderFuel cohort is made up of 8 remarkable start-ups with audacious visions to disrupt their respective industries. The start-ups include a versatile range of industry backgrounds like online e-commerce, estate planning, last mile delivery, motion sensing, reducing sleep deprivation and building’s electrical maintenance etc. The cohort includes: PowerTree, NameShouts, Willful, Gravy, BoxKnight, LiveScale, HALEO and OSCP.
We’d like to shine a spotlight on PowerTree:
PowerTree is on a purpose driven mission to assist industrial building owners to modernize their electrical installations management. Their name pays tribute to electrical building plans that visually represent the branches of a living tree. Similarly, to how trees breathe life powering oxygen, so too is PowerTree breathing life into the outdated, legacy electrical maintenance sector.
PowerTree was conceived by co-founders, David L’Heureux, CEO and his best friend Mateusz Goral, CTO, when Mateusz a 10 year veteran of the electrical engineering industry witnessed first-hand the large scale problem that maintenance operators faced day-in-day-out in maintaining electrical plans up-to-date. The sheer magnitude of this problem, prompted Mateusz to partner with his long time school friend David — (a successful sales executive) to come up with an ingenious solution that would simplify the lives of maintenance operators while improving electricians’ health and safety.
Inspired by their passion to bring challenge the status quo, the two of them quit their full-time jobs in 2018, joined Centech’s Acceleration Program and plunged headlong into building PowerTree. Today, PowerTree is a 5 member team, they have big fortune five-hundred customers and they are currently raising a seed-round of $1,000,000 to “invest in our customers, our product and our people to build a sustainable and scalable business”
