The development of entrepreneurial ecosystems in China and Canada have their own distinctive characteristics relating to government policies and cultures. Of course, they have pros and cons, this can be improved by learning from each other’s advantages and cultures. That’s why we bring Chinese Science parks, VCs, high-tech companies to Montreal during CCIEF, we hope to link the two ecosystems, and build one more feasible channel between them through our effort.
As the annual entrepreneurial brand event, the third Canada-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum is being held strongly! On May 21, government representatives, well-known entrepreneurs, professors and scholars, major investment institutions, entrepreneurial incubators and entrepreneurs from China and Canada will once again gather to discuss the large cooperation opportunities between China and Canada. Xueming Chen, Consul General of the Consulate General of China in Montreal; Thomas Park, Vice President of Operation, BDC Capital; Guangli Wang, Director of Toronto Division of the Zhongguancun Science Park; Ms. Danielle Laberge, Vice President of UQAM , and other big names will be at Sherbrook University of Quebec to compare notes with you in person. We believe that the RDFI and its partners will give you a surprise!
The theme of this forum is “THE FUTURE”. Our special guests will explain the evolution of the history of the China-Canada entrepreneurial ecosystems, prospective evolution and cross-border investments. At the same time, technology giants will analyze the current status and future trends of hot-spot technology. Hoping we can get connected in the future regardless of when and where.
